MEDICAL PROJECTS

Emergency Room Facilities:
CI has built over 13 facilities throughout Texas, each being 5,000 to 6,000 SF interior finishes and some ground-up with exam rooms, CT and X-ray rooms, lab, med gas piping, and emergency generator. Significant renovations to the exterior included construction of a tower and entrance canopies and installing new electrical service.

Urgent Care Facilities
CI has constructed multiple 4,000 to 5,000 SF medical offices with exam rooms, x-ray, and lab

Eurofins Medical Testing Laboratories
Three separate facilities in Texas, Colorado, and Georgia. 10,000 SF Laboratories for microbiological analysis of food products. Complete demolition of the existing interiors to construct new lab. Walk-in freezer and cooler rooms. Installing new fire sprinkler system into building. New electrical service with transformer pad. New HVAC equipment and air filtration. Coordination of testing equipment locations, power, water, and drain requirements.

MOHS Surgery Centers
Design-build contracts to construct exam rooms, lab, and patient waiting areas.

Medical City Projects
• Over 10 separate medical office spaces

Legacy Medical Center projects: Two buildings totaling 48,000 SF of medical offices, exam and treatment rooms, labs, MRI room with magnetic shielding. The buildings were separately constructed and then joined together by cutting through the exterior wall between them to accommodate the expansion of one tenant into the next available suite.

MRI of America – Farmers Branch
Retrofit interiors of a building to accommodate a 250,000 pound MRI machine. Extensive foundation work was required to support the structure, requiring excavation down to 12’ inside the building, straight shaft piers, and a 6’ thick concrete slab below the finished floor.

Texas Health Resources
7,300 SF General Parishioners Office with (17) Exam rooms, multiple restrooms, (2) centralized Nurses Stations, a General Lab and Offices for Doctors & staff.

Waxahachie Surgical Specialists – TC Baylor
This 4,000 SF interior construction consisted of multiple exam and procedure rooms.

Lone Star Vision – Legacy Village Plano
An optometrist and eyewear store with exam rooms and custom display millwork and finishes

Dr Alistair Fyfe  – Medical City Dallas
4,000 SF of consulting rooms and a CT scan lab for a heart specialist. The space is intended to be a showplace by using several species of exotic wood flooring, all field finished, granite tops, and frosted glass walls and doors around the waiting room.

Baylor Family Medicine – Richardson
10,000 SF demo and complete retrofit of an existing service center building into exam rooms and medical offices.

Baylor Center for Pain Management – Richardson
7,000 SF finish-out of consulting rooms, physical therapy, and CT scan center

Stonebriar Vision Center – Frisco
Optometrist and eyewear store in a retail strip center

Holiner Psychiatric Group – Medical City Dallas
This project was built in phases around a continuing practice of a psychiatrist’s office. The construction detailing focused on sound attenuation and privacy control in the construction of the walls, doors, and mechanical distribution throughout the space.

Matlock OBGYN – Arlington – Lincoln Harris

• Fulfillment Center – 650,000 SF warehouse with 20,000 SF of office finish out 

Hall Wine Lounge – Frisco – Hall Office
4,000 SF gathering area showcasing a wine room with built-in wine storage cabinets, bar areas with natural stone tops, and under-counter appliances, and specialty lighting 

FAA Offices – Fort Worth – Mercantile Partners
30,000 SF office renovation and cubicle reconfiguration, with multiple phases and personnel relocations. Space was occupied and operational during construction, demanding dust and noise control, and strict government security clearances.

ARI Expansion – Grapevine – Automotive Resources International
39,600 SF Call Center Expansion with an elevated centrally located Command & Control station. The expansion more than doubled the number of Work Stations, Training and Conference Rooms. Installed Generator and UPS backed up power for the entire site.  Phased construction scheduling allowed for uninterrupted operations of the existing 350 person call center operating 7-day a week.
